WHY WHISP
EXISTS.
Newcastle is known for its nightlife and party culture.
Yet beneath the music and lights, many young people are searching for meaning. WHISP exists to create spaces where those searching hearts can encounter hope.
Victor Dina
I'm Victor Dina, I Coordinate WHISP, based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Since 2021, WHISP has worked to tackle isolation and disadvantage among young people across the city — meeting them on the streets, building genuine mentorship, and connecting them to community.
I lead a team of trained volunteers delivering this work, under the charitable governance of RCCG Restoration Chapel. My focus is building a sustainable, measurable programme that creates lasting impact for young people across Newcastle and the North East.
